Get rid of mice

Take a pail that's at least a foot high. Smear some peanut butter inside of the pail, about a one inch wide stripe a couple or three inches below the rim. Put it on pretty thick. There has to be enough peanut butter for the mice to get a good whiff of it. Then pour some water in the bottom of the pail - about half a hand's depth should do (about 4 inches). Place the pail near a wall or a corner or put a block of wood like a ramp up to the rim. The mice will climb up the wall or the ramp and as they are stretching into the pail to eat the peanut butter, they fall into the pail and eventually drown. Bury the contents of the bucket every day because it will start to stink and warn the mice away. You might have to freshen up your peanut butter from time to time.
