Tomatoes, as Cattle Food

Mr. Davis, the editor of the "Michigan State News," Ann Arbor, Mich., says, "that he has fed his cow, this season at least 10 bushels of tomatoes." His, plan is to mix a little bran with them (say 3 qts, to a half bushel), when fed, they cause an excellent flow of rich and delicious milk., he did not think of it until after the frosts, when observing them going to waste, he thought to see if she would eat them, which. she did freely from the commencement. Should it prove that cattle would eat them generally, they would prove a very cheap and easily raised food.
