Salt of the Earth Press Skill-Based Contest
Congratulations! You've taken the first step in being recognized for your skills in Photography!

Now that you've paid your entry fee, it's time to get down to the business of entering your photographs to the contest. You have 7 days from the time you paid your entry fee to send in your entry.

Photograph: Win up to $50 Cash!

This contest demonstrates skill in photography. Dates: All entries must be received by the first Friday of each month to be considered for that month's contest. Entitled: Photo "Month"

• Entry Format: Photographs must be submitted electronically. You may capture your image with any type of camera and edit it in any program you feel comfortable with, but it must be sent in as a jpg attached to an email. Any entries with an extension of anything other than ".jpg" will be disqualified. Name your photograph the same number as your PayPal Transaction ID number (it is in the email you received after you paid your entry fee). Your photograph should be no larger than 800 x 600 pixels and should be under 100k.
• The subject line of your email should be Photo Entry Month (i.e. January)
• In the body of your email include the name of your file. (example: 2YZ5912218019035R.jpg)
• Include your PayPal Transaction ID number (it is in the email you received after you paid your entry fee). This will be your entry number and is cross indexed only to be sure you paid your entry fee. Your name will not be associated with your entry to ensure fair and impartial judging.
• Do not include any other information! Your email will be printed and submitted to the judges. It will be disqualified if you include any other information. All contact information was gathered during your entry fee payment.

• Focus: Entries must focus on activities that are associated with the month the entry is entered for. Entrant will demonstrate originality (25%), expression (25%), creativity (25%), and human interest (25%).
• Entry Fee: $2.25.

• 1st Prize: $50 paid via PayPal
• 2nd Prize: $20 paid via PayPal
• 3rd Prize: $10 paid via PayPal
• Winner Announced: On the first Friday of each month for preivous month's winners.
• Number of entries required for valid contest: a minimum of 50 to a maximum of 125

• If you have not already paid your entry fee or if you would like to enter another photograph: You may enter as many photographs as you like but each will require a fee.
